Making a booking

Please complete an enquiry form with your requirements and we will contact you to discuss. A deposit of £30 will need to be sent to confirm your booking and reserve the equipment for your chosen day.

What area does Party Hive cover?

Party Hive covers a 10 mile radius from our postcode DH4 5FB, with no additional charges for delivery. For events outside this area we do cater so please contact us to discuss the additional delivery costs.

Terms and conditions of hire

Before the Party
A provisional booking will be made when you contact us. This will then be confirmed upon receipt of a deposit of £30. Deposits must be paid within 7 days of the provisional booking. Deposits can be paid by Cheque, Bank Transfer or PayPal.

Deposits will be refunded in full if for any reason your event is cancelled more than 14 days in advance. We are sorry but if you cancel with less than 14 days notice we will be unable to refund your deposit.

The remaining balance needs to be paid prior to the equipment being set up. This can be cash on the day of the event or by Bank Transfer up to 3 days in advance.

Confirmation of numbers for catering and party favours must be received 5 days in advance of your event.

It is your responsibility to ensure your venue has adequate space to accommodate the soft play package you have chosen.

Party Hive require at least 48 hours notice if there are any changes to the venue.

Please allow 30 minutes either side of your event for the equipment to be set up and taken down. Take this into consideration when booking your venue.

Delivery for events within 10 miles of our postcode is included, for events out of this area please contact us to discuss added delivery costs

If your event is due to take place outdoors please ensure you have made provisions for wet weather. The equipment is not suitable for use when wet

Party Hive endeavour to arrive and set up in time but we cannot be held responsible for delays due to circumstances beyond out control. You will be contacted as soon as possible to be advised of any delay.

Party Hive reserve the right to substitute an item of soft play for that of a similar size.

You will be required to sign our terms and conditions of use prior to the equipment being set up.

Health and Safety for your little ones

The Party Hive soft play equipment has been designed to be used by very young children and is very safe to use but it's important that your little ones and guests are supervised by a responsible adult.

Party Hive do not supervise children.

Party Hive have Public Liability insurance.

All electrical equipment used by Party Hive have been fully PAT tested and are RCD protected, this includes extensions.

Can I tailor a package to suit my requirements?

Yes, although this is subject to availability of the equipment. Please contact us for a quote if you would like to tailor your own package.
